Imagine this: you take your car to the garage. The mechanic just looks at the paint, feels the surface and takes some pictures. Then he excitedly arrives with the conclusion that the engine is broken and needs to be replaced. Bizarre, right? And yet that is exactly how things are still often done in construction and real estate: making judgments based on an inspection.
We show that this can and should be done differently. Inscio instruments real estate with IoT sensors and collects data where the risks are: in roofs, facades, crawl spaces, structures and in wood (CLT). During DigiBouw we show in concrete projects how this works in practice and what it yields for builders, property owners and managers.
